moshood (b. 1992) is a writer and photographer who lives in Ghana.
He has done production and documentation work in Accra’s alternative arts and culture scene for close to a decade now, including work as writer and editor, producer and music programmer with yoyo tinz—a Ghanaian hip hop outfit that produced the country’s first hip hop festival.
Moshood’s writings span several genres and have been published in print and digital publications across the world. His work featured as part of The Hands That Feed You: Ubucwebe digital exhibition, hosted by Goethe Joburg in 2020; and his photographs and essay installation showcased as part of the December 2020 Stations of Protest exhibition, held in Accra, at the Nubuke Foundation Gallery. Another essay installation also featured in the Black Gaze, Black Bodies exhibition held in Atlanta, USA, in 2023.
In 2021, he co-adapted (and co-produced) an Ama Ata Aidoo story for film. His debut solo publication, .shadow stories., was released in the same year.
Moshood was an inaugural Tender Photo editorial fellow in 2024.
